Hyderabad, Jan 5 (Maxim News): The Working President of BRS and Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, IT and Industries, K.Tarak Rama Rao has reacted for the first time on such incidents of the suicide of farmers against the Kamareddy Master Plan.

According to the sources, he asked the Kamareddy Commissioner to inform him about the original master plan. He said that he was not aware of this matter. He questioned the officials as to why they are unable to tell the people that the master plan is in the draft stage. He said that it can be said that changes and additions will be made according to public opinion.

KTR asked the Commissioner whether a farmer died because of the master plan. He said that he never said that there should be a master plan to trouble people. KTR clarified that they have no intention to trouble anyone. The officials were advised to immediately receive and resolve the objections of the people.

On the other hand, there was tension at Kamareddy Collectorate. The farmers who staged a dharna in front of the collectorate demanded that the collector should come and answer. When they tried to go inside beyond the barricades, the police stopped them, this caused tension. (Maxim News)
