KTR Said TS Govt Will Help Flood Victims In Warangal
Hyderabad, Aug.18 (Maxim News): IT and Municipal Minister, K T Rama Rao today said that government will help flood victims in Warangal.
The minister said that the nala encroachments will be removed for taking up drainage works with Rs, 10 cr. Along with health minister Etala Rajender, K T Rama Rao took a aerial view of the rain devastated Warangal city by a helicopter.
Later on the ministers visited local Nayeem Nagar nala and interacted with people. They people poured in their problems of losing everything on their houses and heavy crop loss.
The minister said that Rs 10 crore will be sanctioned for taking up drainage works in the city. KTR instructed the local officials to plan for the same and remove all encroachments.
The minister appealed that the local community has to cooperative for development works by removing the illegal structures. Probably moved at the loss of rice and essentials by the people, KTR has instructed the officials to provide essential items to victims. Ensure that the rain hit people get timely succor the municipal minister said.
The government is monitoring the floods situation and taking rescue measures as the city is marooned in waters he said. We will provide all help and people have to be careful he asked. Ministers Dayakar Rao, Satyavati Rathod and officials were present. (Maxim News)
