On the other hand, the schemes which were implemented for the poor families of weavers by implementing the “Bathukamma Sarees” distribution among the poor during the Dasara, Ramzaan, and Christmas has been stopped which was providing livelihood to these poor sections.  Due to not giving work by the Congress government, so far 10 weavers have committed suicide.

Distribution of Bathukamma sarees was started to employ netannas and weavers to prevent suicide.  he reminded that due to the orders of bathukamma sarees, which continued for 7 years, the suicides of weavers in the state have stopped.  Annually Rs. 350 crores worth of sarees were distributed every year by the BR’s government, now it is being conspired to stop the distribution of Bathukamma sarees after coming to power.

He said that due to the distribution of Bathukamma sarees undertaken by BRS with good intentions, poor women will receive sarees as a gift from the government on the occasion of the festival. Similarly, the government wants to recognize the fact that handloom workers and weavers are employed by many people as adjuncts. They asked the government on the platform Twitter not to take the usura of factional leaders and chenetas against their government. Due to the suspension of orders for Bathukamma sarees, 10 people have already committed suicide. KTR posted an article in an English magazine that the government is planning to cancel Bathukamma orders. Even now, KTR demanded that the Congress government stop taking necessary measures and immediately place orders for Bathukamma sarees and provide employment to weavers and weavers.

KTR lashed out at the party defections in his style.  He criticized that it was the Congress party that brought the anti-defection law, and now it is the Congress party that is promoting immigration.  He criticized that the Congress party came to power in the state by saying that they would implement six guarantees in 100 days, and now they have forgotten those guarantees.  (Maxim News)
