KTR slams BJP for the traitor jibe on CM, Centre troubled farmers

Hyderabad, Nov.22 (Maxim News): Municipal and IT Minister KT Rama Rao today criticised that the BJP leaders are making foolish and baseless charges on the government of Telangana. The Minister expressed serious displeasure at the BJP leader Chandrasekhar for alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is a traitor for offering Rs 3 lakh ex-gratia to 750 farmers who died in the protests. This is unwelcoming and unwarranted, he felt.

He tweeted that the BJP leadership is trying to misguide the farmers and the people as well. The Minister sought to know whether giving help to the farmers is wrong and those who offer financial help will become traitors. Those who leave the poor farmers in the killer cold and Covid-19 for over a year Desh Bhakts and those who give help are traitors, he wondered. Who are these morons to issue certification on Desh Bhakti anyway, the minister asked.

The Minister asked whether the Centre has done a good job by putting to task the farmers at the national border for removal of farm laws. The Centre was ruthless towards the farmers for seeking to repeal the farm laws, he said. Those who give such trouble and difficulties are good and those who offer financial help to the farmers are traitors, he said.

Who are these fools to give certificates to the state government which is doing its best for the agriculture sector, he asked. The Minister informed that the BJP Government at the Centre gave much trouble and created panic among the farmers at the borders for one year. The Centre has put the farmers to task by lathi charge, water cannons and barbs at the national capital region.

Now the Modi Government announced to repeal the three farm laws. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has come forward to give Rs 3 lakh compensation to about 750 farmers who lost their lives during their one year long protests at Delhi borders.

A total of Rs 22.50 cr has been offered by the KCR Government to help the farmers for their great movement against the farm laws which were repealed by the centre. The CM demanded the Centre to give Rs 25 lakhs to each kin of the 750 farmers who died in the protests. KCR also demanded the Centre to decide on fixing MSP to the farm produce and action.
