Hyderabad, Feb. 21 (Maxim News): BRS Working President K Tarak Rama Rao criticized the Congress over protests at the AI Impact Summit 2026.
KTR said the Congress party’s “natural foolishness has surpassed Artificial Intelligence.” He posted a series of tweets on Saturday targeting the Youth Congress protest at the summit.
Responding to the demonstration near the AI Impact Summit 2026, KTR said it was unfortunate that Youth Congress members chose an international forum for political drama. He stated that such platforms should not be used for protests.
According to him, using global events for agitation harms the country’s image before other nations.
KTR said differences of opinion are natural in a democracy. However, he stressed that leaders must understand where and how to express dissent.
He added that every political disagreement has a proper time and context. He said an international conference like the AI Impact Summit 2026 is not the right venue for such protests.
He also criticized the timing of the protest. He said it was strange that Youth Congress leaders staged a protest while Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was addressing the same AI summit. He questioned the intent behind organizing a demonstration during a major international event.
In another tweet, KTR spoke about the SLBC accident. He described the incident as the peak of what he called the Revanth government’s failure. He alleged that nearly a year after the SLBC tunnel collapse, the Congress government has failed to recover the bodies of workers.
He said families have suffered mental distress as they could not even see their loved ones one last time.
KTR further alleged that there has been no visible progress in retrieving bodies or in tunnel works over the past year. He termed this as proof of negligence and inefficiency.
He added that if Congress leaders show the same attention to worker welfare and public good as they do to commissions and contracts, such tragedies may not recur. (Maxim News)
