KTR Thanks Well Wishers, Tweets he had Allergic Cold

Hyderabad: Minister for IT and Industries K T Rama Rao has clarified that he is suffering from a bout of allergic cold and that there was nothing to worry about his health.

The Minister was responding through a tweet to numerous anxious inquiries in social media platforms about “covid warrior KTR” after visuals of him at a meeting in Sircilla showed that he had symptoms of severe cold.

The speculations about Rama Rao’s health hurt his well-wishers and they wanted to know what exactly had happened. “Sir, disturbed to know that you were down with flu symptoms yesterday in Sircilla. Concerned about your health. You have been a Covid warrior since the virus engulfed us, unmindful of your health. Please reassure us about your health. You are our hope. Please take care,” tweeted G Subramanya Sastry, one of the many concerned citizens.

The Minister, who is very prompt in responding to pertinent issues on his twitter handle, replied: “Many thanks for your concern sir. Perfectly well now. Developed an allergic cold (struggling for many years) en route to Siricilla. Didn’t want to cancel my visit suddenly as it would inconvenience many people. Apologies for any inconvenience I may have caused inadvertently,” Rama Rao said.
