KTR Warns Defamation Case On Cong For Jibe

Hyderabad, May 1 (Maxim News): TRS working president and former minister KT Rama Rao today warned that he will file a defamation case against the Opposition leaders if they continue to make derogatory remarks against the government on Inter results fiasco.

Addressing a meeting at Telangana Bhavan to mark May Day celebrations here today, KTR said the Opposition was making false comments on Inter results and adding to woes of the students and their parents. KTR said he had already said the government has to take action against those involved in irregularities in the Inter results.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao also appealed to the students not to take wrong decisions of ending their lives, he said. He also said the government will take action against culprits as per expert committee recommendations. KTR condemned the comments that he was involved in giving away the contract for Globalrena Technologies which added to the problems. There was no truth in what the Opposition was alleging that Rs 10,000 crore scam took place on Inter results, he said. Globalrena took tenders for Rs 4,35,70000 as per norms, he said.

KTR also said the Congress and the BJP were playing with the lives of the students and children by spreading falsehood. Opposition leaders and some media orgnaizations are just ready to wield knives on KCR. The government will take necessary action, corrective steps and do justice to the students who should not lose their cool, he urged. (Maxim News)
