KTR’s Directives To Dt Collectors On SSP

Hyderabad, Oct.15 (Maxim News): Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao today directed collectors of all districts to implement ‘Swachch Sarvekshan program’. KTR asked the collectors to submit a plan of action for waste management and cleaning drive.

He held a video conference with the collectors and asked them to take up clean and green drive and find places for dump yards on the outskirts. He directed district administration to complete land acquisition for dump yards. Ensure that waste and garbage was removed on time by giving more vehicles to sanitation workers. The minister stressed the need to make continuous efforts on keeping clean environment by involving people.

The minister said that Swachch sarvekshan program is for changing the shapes of villages and towns by going top priority to cleanliness. KTR also instructed the collectors to take steps to provide insurance coverage to municipal workers.

He asked the collectors to take measures to build more number of she-toilets in cities. The minister directed them to improve facilities in cities, towns and municipal areas with green plans audit on water and green lung space.(Maxim News)
