Kunamneni Comments Show Political Bankruptcy: Kishan Reddy

Union Minister Kishan Reddy strongly condemned the comments made by CPI Kothagudem MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He described the remarks as despicable. He said such statements reflect political bankruptcy. He also criticised the public representative for making what he termed indecent comments against a democratically elected Prime Minister. According to Kishan Reddy, the Prime Minister works day and night for the country’s development and enhances India’s prestige at the international level.

Meanwhile, Kishan Reddy expressed his views through a post on social media. He said he strongly condemns such remarks made against a visionary leader. He stated that personal attacks on the Prime Minister are unfortunate. He also said that making meaningless accusations shows a lack of seriousness in public life. Therefore, he urged political leaders to act responsibly and show restraint in their statements.

Kishan Reddy further criticised Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao for what he said was a lack of political maturity. He said there is a need for maturity and responsibility in politics. He added that leaders must remember that people are watching everything. According to him, such comments cause damage to democratic values. He said they also weaken the political system. Therefore, he warned that repeated personal attacks could erode public trust.

Later, the Union Minister demanded that Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao apologise unconditionally for his comments. He made it clear that such remarks should not be tolerated in a democracy. He said elected representatives must follow dignity and decorum. He also stressed the importance of upholding democratic traditions at all times.

Kishan Reddy then urged the Legislative Assembly Speaker to intervene in the matter. He asked the Speaker to take the initiative to ensure that no one else makes such indecent comments. He also requested that the etiquette of the House be followed strictly. According to him, maintaining discipline in legislative conduct is essential. He said this will protect democratic institutions and public respect.
