Laxman mocks govt orders on teachers’ Assets

Hyderabad, June 25 (Maxim News): BJP OBC Morcha national president and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. K. Laxman today mocked the orders issued by the state government asking all government school teachers to furnish the details of their movable and immovable assets every year. He termed the orders as an attempt of the state government to harass the teachers.

In a statement, he said that the government should not tolerate any employee and MLAs, who commit corruption. Stating that the main responsibility of the teachers is to teach students, he said that the teachers did not have scope to make money through illegal means . He said that the state government has the powers to take disciplinary action against the teachers if they showed negligence in discharging their duties .

He condemned the issuance of the orders against the teachers to find out about their assets and GO 317 to transfer them. (Maxim News)
