Leopard Caught Near Hyderabad Airport Released
Hyderabad: The leopard captured from Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) was released on Saturday night in Amrabad Tiger Reserve.

Ranga Reddy DFO Sudhakar Reddy said that the leopard was taken in the rescue van from Nehru Zoological Park to Amrabad and was released in the night.
The animal was trapped by forest officials, who had set up a cage with bait in the airport. Following its capture, a team from Nehru Zoological Park arrived to examine the leopard, which had sustained minor scratches on its face during the struggle to escape the cage.

“Vets in the zoo monitored the health of the leopard as they found it to be fit it has been released in the wild,” said Sudhakar Reddy.
