LIC Relief For Odisha Train Accident Victims

Delhi/Hyderabad, June 4 (Maxim News): Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) announced several reliefs for claim settlements of victims of the train accident in Odisha’s Balasore district.

The National Insurance Company has said that it will speed up claim settlements to provide financial assistance to train accident victims. LIC policies to ease the hardships of Pradhan mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana claimants, LIC has announced various concessions for claim settlements.

“In lieu of registered death certificates, death lists published by railway authorities, police or any state or central government authority will be accepted as proof of death,” the life insurer said in a statement.

LIC has also set up dedicated help desks at divisional and branch levels to respond to claim related queries and provide assistance to claimants. (Maxim News)
