Light Rain Expected in Hyderabad Till March 21: IMD

Hyderabad: Hyderabad, the capital city of Telangana, will experience light rain and drizzle until March 21, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts. The weekly weather forecast indicates the likelihood of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning.

The IMD has extended its caution to other districts of Telangana, also placing them under a yellow alert. However, certain districts including Nizamabad, Jagtial, Kamareddy, Rajanna Sircialla, Sangareddy, Medak, and Vikarabad, are under a heightened orange alert. For these areas, the department warns of possible
hailstorms in addition to thunderstorms and lightning.

Recent data from the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) revealed a slight relief from scorching temperatures, with readings dipping below 40 degrees Celsius. In Jogulamba Gadwal district, the mercury soared to 39.4 degrees Celsius, marking a marginal decrease.
