Local Bodies Polls: TPCC Decentralizes Decision-Making Process
Hyderabad, April 21 (Maxim News): TPCC ushered in reforms in party’s decision-making process. It decentralized the decision making process for upcoming local body elections while intensifying steps for the selection of contesting candidates. It handed over A-forms to all the DCC presidents on Sunday besides bestowing responsibility of handing over B-forms to contesting candidates in the upcoming elections. It also released the affidavit, which was needed to be sworn in and executed by the contesting candidates before receiving B-forms.
TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy held a meeting with all the DCC presidents. Senior leaders K. Jana Reddy, Mohd Ali Shabbir, Ponnam Prabhakar, Damodar Raja Narasimha, Kumar Rao, Niranjan and the party district coordinators also took part in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Uttam Kumar Reddy said the DCCs would give the B-forms to the contesting candidates of the party for ZPTC and MPTC posts. He said the B-forms would be given during the mandal-level meetings held by the party. The party has asked the DCCs to take affidavits from the contesting candidates on a Rs.20 stamp paper.
