Hyderabad, Dec.23 (Maxim News): In pursuance of the guidelines issued by the National Legal Services Authority, the Telangana State Legal Services Authority organized Statewide Lok Adalat on Sunday.
Under the guidance of Justice Thottathil B. Nair Radha Krishnan, Chief Justice of Hyderabad High Court & Patron-in-Chief, Telangana State Legal Services Authority Justice V. Ramasubramanian, Executive Chairman, Telangana State Legal Services Authrotuy Justice C. Praveen Kumar, Chairman, High Court Legal Services Committee, today coordinated with all the District Legal Services Authorities in the State by A. Santhosh Reddy, Member Secretary, Telangana State Legal Services Authority.
In the Lok Adalat, 15,809 cases wherein 6,735 pre-litigation cases and 9,074 court pending cases of all categories have been settled in all courts in the State of Telangana and an amount of Rs 28.24 crore was settled as compensation in settled cases. (Maxim News)
