Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Tomorrow Last Date For Filing Nominations In The Telugu States

LOK SABHA ELECTIONS 2024 | Hyderabad, April 24 (Maxim News): Keeping in view that the last date for filing nomination in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh is april 25 (tomorrow) with this, it seems likely that there will be a huge number of nominations today and tomorrow.

According to the Central Election Commission, as part of the general elections, elections will be held for Telangana 17 and Andhra Pradesh 25 Lok Sabha seats in the fourth phase. Polling for all the Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, UP, Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir along with Telugu States will be held on May 13. Along with these, the AP Assembly elections will be held.

So far as of Tuesday 415 nominations have been filed for 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, 417 nominations have been filed for 25 Parliamentary segments in Andhra Pradesh, 2,350 nominations have been filed for 175 Assembly segments in AP.

The fourth phase election notification was released on April 18, and the process of receiving nominations started immediately. Nominations are received every day from 11 am to 3 pm. The process of filing nominations ends tomorrow. The next day the nominations will be scrutinised. The deadline for withdrawal of nominations has been given till 29th, Polling will be held on may 13. The results will be declared on June 4.
