LRS Scheme Under Tri-Corporation Is Testing Patience Of beneficiaries: Over One Lakh Pending

Hyderabad, Mar 28 (Maxim News):  The LRS scheme under the Tri-Corporation is testing the patience of the beneficiaries. The officials are rejecting applications for even the smallest of reasons. If it is known that FTL, buffer zone, and drains are nearby, the applications are being put on hold. Out of 1,06,891 applications under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, nearly 40,000 applications under the ORR (merged municipality) are pending, out of nearly one lakh are pending.

It has been recently decided to divide these applications into clusters for 60 circles and then conduct a field inspection. To facilitate the field inspection, the process of dividing them into clusters according to village, ward, survey number and colony has been undertaken. Is the plot in question on government land? Is it within the FTL limits? And whether the application is eligible for regularization? Or not? The higher authorities have issued instructions to the officers of the Town Planning Department of the concerned circle to thoroughly examine and clear it. (Maxim News)
