Hyderabad: The Twitter allegations and counter allegations between AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh and IT Minister K T Ramarao raised eyebrows.
When Digvijay Singh tweeted that ‘Telangana Police has set up a bogus ISIS site, which was radicalizing Muslim Youths and encouraging them to become ISIS Modules’, IT Minister K T Ramarao lashed out at the former in the twitter saying ‘It was most irresponsible and reprehensible act coming from a former chief minister. Request you to withdraw the comments unconditionally or provide evidence’.
The AICC general secretary failed to react on KTR’s posting. But the Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath lodged a complaint with the Jubilee Hills Police Station against Digvijay Singh.
Maganti alleged in his complaint that Digvijay Singh posted a baseless allegation against the Telangana police only for political gains. He sought apologies from Digvijay Singh and said there was a peaceful atmosphere in Hyderabad and it was not proper to the responsible leader like Digvijay Singh to post such a reckless one.
Meanwhile, Telangana CM’s daughter and MP K.Kavitha condemn congress leader Digvijay singh comments about Telangana Police of radicalising muslim youths.
K.Kavitha retweeted digvijay sing’s post and shared her views as “ridiculous , baseless. Not expected of a senior politician.”
