Mahatma Gandhi’s Thoughts Still Inspire The World: Shabbir

Hyderabad, Oct.2 (Maxim News): Paying rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary on Wednesday, former minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir said that teachings, thoughts and views of Gandhiji would remain eternal and continue to inspire several generations.

Along with other senior leaders of Congress party, Shabbir Ali participated in the Congress Sandesh Yatra from Charminar to Gandhi Bhavan. Speaking on the occasion, Shabbir slammed US President Donald Trump for calling Prime Minister Narender Modi ‘Father of the Nation’. He gave an interesting comparison between Mahatma Gandhi and PM Modi and said that the latter had no stature even to be compared with Gandhiji. “Mahatma Gandhi was an institution in himself while Modi is BJP’s poster boy. Gandhji led the struggle for independence and brought freedom for the country.

But PM Modi suppressed people’s freedom, manipulated elections, openly lied and cheated entire country with ‘Jumlas‘ like ‘Achche Din‘ and ‘Vikas‘,” he said.(Maxim News)
