Hyderabad, Jan 13 (Maxim News): A major fire broke out at a plastic recycling unit in Budvel area of Rajendranagar mandal on Tuesday morning. The locals are panicking as the fire broke out and thick smoke was seen billowing. Firefighters who reached the spot are trying to douse the fire. Fire engines are currently at the spot. As soon as the accident happened, the locals and the police were informed and immediately rushed to the spot.
Officials said that steps are being taken to prevent the fire from spreading. They said that there has been no loss of life so far. However, it seems that there are huge stocks of plastic in the industry. It seems that all of them were consumed in the fire. The reasons for the accident are not yet known. The police have launched an investigation to see if it was due to a short circuit or some other technical reason. It seems that people in the vicinity are having difficulty breathing due to thick smoke. Details of the extent of property damage in the fire are yet to be known. (Maxim News)
