Mamata Banerjee to contest Bhabanipur Assembly by-election

West Bengal, Sept. 6: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) announced that CM Mamata Banerjee is going to contest the Bhabanipur Assembly by-election on 30th September. As per the sources, it is a difficult task for BJP to finalise the candidate for the Bhabanipur elections. Mamata Banerjee has to win the elections to remain the seat of chief minister therefore all eyes are on the Bhabanipur by-polls.

It is learnt that BJP will conduct a meeting on Tuesday to finalise the candidates for three by-polls. Earlier, Mamata has lost the Nandigram assembly election in the hands of her rival Suvendu Adhikari by 1956 votes.
