Man Attempts Suicide At NIMS Hospital Over Liquor Withdrawal, Condition Critical

Hyderabad, April 4 (Maxim News): A relative of a patient attempted to die by suicide at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) on Friday.

The victim identified as K. Narayana (35), a native of Bellampalli, Mancherial district, is an alcohol addict and visited the hospital to attend to his ailing father Hanumanthu (55), who is undergoing treatment in the hospital. 

Apparently, Narayana was upset over not getting liquor to consume. He climbed the second floor of the NIMS emergency Block and jumped from there. He fell on the ground and suffered grievous injuries. He was immediately shifted to the casualty and is undergoing treatment. His condition is said to be critical. The Panjagutta police are investigating.  (Maxim News)
