Man Beats Father To Death Over Money For Liquor In Medak

Medak/Hyderabad, Jan 6 (Maxim News): A drunkard allegedly beat his father to death for refusing to give him money to buy liquor at Sita Nagar village in Papannapet mandal on Monday late night.

The victim, Langidi Lakshmaiah (48), was living with his wife and two sons by cultivating various crops on his two acres of land. His elder son Srikanth (25), who is married, was addicted to liquor and reportedly harassed his parents daily, demanding money to buy alcohol.

On Monday night, Srikanth picked up an argument with his father over the same issue. When Lakshmaiah refused to give him money, Srikanth allegedly attacked him and beat him black and blue with a stick. Lakshmaiah died on the spot after bleeding profusely.

The police registered a case. The body was shifted to the government hospital in Medak for postmortem. (Maxim News)
