Man held for sexually assaulting minor girl

Hyderabad: A man was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a minor girl in Begum Bazaar here on Thursday.

The suspect, identified as Mirza Rafeeq Baig, had recently sexually assaulted the girl, who is known to him. Based on a complaint, the Begum Bazaar police booked a case under the POCSO Act and arrested him. He was remanded in judicial custody.
