Man Jumps in Front of CM KCR’s Car

Hyderabad: Setting off a security scare a person darted across Cheif Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s convoy when the latter was approaching the Gun Park to pay homage to the Telangana martyrs on the state formation day here on Tuesday.

Alert policemen and security staff tackled the youngster quickly and took him into custody. He was identified as Hanumanthu Nayak of Kondamallepally Village in Nalgonda district.

Initial investigations revealed that Nayak rushed towards the Chief Minister’s convoy trying to catch the attention of Chief Minister in a bid to get a two BHK house sanctioned for him.

The entire road stretch in front of the assembly building was cordoned off by security officers in view of the Chief Minister’s visit to the Gun park.

However, Hanumanthu Nayak managed to breach the security cordon and managed to approach the CM’s convoy.

The security breach has shaken the police establishment. Investigation is on.
