Man Out On Bail Kills His Two Sisters
Hyderabad: A murder suspect, who was out on bail, allegedly attacked four of his family members, killing two of his sisters and seriously injuring the other two at Chandrayangutta here on Monday evening.
According to the police, the suspect, identified as Ahmed Bin Salam Baa Ismail, 25, a resident of Salala, had invited his sisters Razia Begum (35) and Zakira Begum (45) to his house in Salala in Chandrayangutta for dinner.
“When the sisters reached his house around 7 om, Ahmed Bin Salam stabbed Razia and Zakira with a dagger resulting in grievous injuries to them. Razia died on the spot while Zakira died on the way to hospital,” said Syed Rafeeq, Additional DCP (South).
After stabbing Razia and Zakira, Ahmed Bin Salam went to the house of his younger sister Noora Begum (30) in Nabeel Colony one kilometer away from the spot and attacked her with the same dagger. “When her husband Omer Ba Hassan (36) came to her rescue, he was also attacked,” the DCP said.
After attacking them, Ahmed Bin Salam escaped from the spot. Both Noora and her husband are undergoing treatment now, said B Bhaskar, SHO, Balapur.
Ahmed Bin Salam was arrested in January 2019 on charges of murdering his wife Fatima Sadi at his house in Salala. A year ago he was granted bail by the court. Police suspect that family issues could be the reason behind the double murder.
Following the incident senior police officials visited the scene of offence and are supervising the investigation. As the two incidents took place in the two different commissionerates of Hyderabad and Rachakonda, the Rachakonda Special Operations Team and Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force team are making efforts to nab the suspect.
