Man sentenced to 10-year jail for raping minor
Hyderabad, Feb. 28: A city court sentenced a man to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs.1,000 on him on charges of raping a minor girl.
Mohammed Ali alias Iqbal Miya, an auto-rickshaw driver from Sharadanagar in Ramanthapur on May 2, 2017 kidnapped the victim from Karkhana and took her to Zaheerabad where he raped her after confining her in a house, Karkhana Inspector B Ravinder said.
The police rescued the girl and arrested him.
