Man Sentenced To 3 Years Jail For Attempt To Rape Case: Harassment Of Minor

Hyderabad, Nov 29 (Maxim News):  A local court on Friday sentenced a man to three years of rigorous imprisonment in the case of harassment and attempt to rape a minor girl reported in LB Nagar in 2016.  The court also imposed a fine of Rs. 6,000 on him.

The convict B. Anjaneyulu (27), a construction worker from NTR Nagar in LB Nagar, stalked the girl and harassed her.  Even after warning from her family members, he continued the harassment.  he attempted to rape her in her house, in the absence of her parents.

Based on a complaint, a case was registered at LB Nagar police station and he was subsequently arrested. The court further ordered a compensation of Rs. 1 lakh to the girl.  (Maxim News)
