Man stabs a minor girl over 20 times in Delhi
New Delhi: A shocking incident unfolded in the Shahbad Dairy area of Delhi on Sunday night, as a 16-year-old girl was allegedly stabbed over two dozen times by a man. The accused, identified as Sahil (20), not only stabbed the girl but also kicked her multiple times before brutally bludgeoning her with a cement block. Disturbingly, this heinous act occurred while passersby witnessed the scene unfold.
In a video capturing the incident, it can be seen that after a brief pause, Sahil returns to the victim and picks up a cement block to further assault her. Astonishingly, despite the repeated acts of violence, it took nearly 30-35 minutes for the police to receive a distress call reporting the incident.
Ravi Kumar Singh, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North), provided details of the tragic event, stating, “Around 9:30 pm on Sunday, the beat staff received information about the murder of a 16-year-old girl named Sakshi. A police team promptly arrived at the scene to investigate. The victim’s lifeless body was discovered on the street.
Subsequent investigation revealed that she was attacked by Sahil, who intercepted her as she was walking through a different lane and proceeded to stab her relentlessly.” Singh also mentioned that Sahil and Sakshi had been in a relationship but had a quarrel on Sunday, leading to this horrifying outcome.
