MANUU Launches Online Urdu Job Mela and Counseling Center

Hyderabad, Feb.4 (Maxim News): Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) today launched first of it’s kind Urdu Job Mela in the country in online mode. Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor while inaugurating the Mela announced that Urdu University will try it’s best to facilitate placements of it’s passed out students. MANUU has also established Career Counselling Centre (CCC) to help the University student’s and other candidates with Urdu background in obtaining suitable jobs or starting a self employment.

More than 2500 candidates registered for the job mela from all over the country will be interviewed by 50 plus companies online during one month. Prof. Hasan declared it as a continuous process. He appreciated all the organizers of the event who put their best efforts to make the mela a huge success. He also expressed his best wishes for the registered candidates.

The Vice-Chancellor pointed out that this mela was supposed to be held physically on January 6 but University didn’t want to take risk in view of Covid precautions announced by the Telangana Government.

Prof S M Rahmatullah, Pro Vice Chancellor described the Mela and establishment of Counselling Centre as historic in the annals of MANUU.

Prof. SK. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, Prof. Shakeel Ahmed, Prof. Saneem Fatima, Prof. Abdul Wahid, Prof. Mohammed Fariyad, Dr. Syed Imtiyaz Hassan, Dr. Mutyala Rao, Dr. Reshma Nikhat and Members of Career Counselling Committee – Dr. Wali ur Rahman, Mr. Mohammed Khasim attended the inaugural.

Dr. Mohammed Yousuf Khan, coordinator Job Mela & Training and Placement Cell I/c, welcomed the gathering & briefed about the details of this exercise.

Dr. Syed Asghar Mahmood, Member Job Mela spoke about the aims & objectives of the Career & Counselling Centre. More than 150 companies will be in line, he revealed.

Dr. Syed Salahuddin, Deputy Training Officer & CCC Member proposed vote of thanks and Mr. Ashraf Nawaz, Asst. Training & Placement Officer & Asst. Professor (E&T) convened the programme.
