Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University’s (MANUU) School of Sciences is accepting applications for merit-based regular PG programs. The online application portal will close on June 30, 2024.

According to Prof. Salman Ahmed Khan, Dean, of the School of Sciences, admissions are available in M.Sc. Mathematics, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, and Zoology with an intake of 20 seats in each program except MSc Mathematics which has an intake of 30 seats. The professional courses M.Voc. – Medical Imaging Technology and Medical Laboratory Technology are also having an intake of 20 seats each.

According to Dr. Khaja Moinuddin, Head, of the Department of Mathematics, admissions are being offered in high-quality programs such as a four-year Undergraduate program with two majors under NEP-2020, a two-year M.Sc program in Mathematics and a Ph.D program with a specializations with different areas of Pure and Applied Mathematics. The Department of Mathematics was established in the year 2011 under the School of Sciences. The Department has highly experienced faculty with research interests in the areas of Algebra, Analysis, Celestial Mechanics, Differential Geometry, Fluid Mechanics/Bio-Fluid Mechanics, Calculus of Fractional order, and Wavelet Analysis.
