MANUU Social Work Dept releases Wall Magazine

Hyderabad, March 8 (Maxim News): The Social Work Club of the Department of Social Work at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), has released a wall magazine to mark the International Women’s Day. The theme of the magazine is ‘Women Empowerment.’

Prof. S.M. Rahmatullah, Dean, School of Arts and Social Sciences, after releasing the magazine asked the audience to take oath for ensuring safety and security to women. He also asked the audience to provide women with freedom and facilitate their endeavours in acquiring education and economic and social equality.

The wall magazine has been designed and developed by the students of Master of Social Work with special contribution from Mrs and Mr Md. Israr Alam.

Further, a Hindi film Bol was screened and followed up by a discussion on the rights and duties of women.

The students and PhD Scholars with the SWD and faculty members, namely Dr. Md Shahid Raza, Head of the Department, Mr. Md Israr Alam, Mr. Abu Osama and Dr. Rafat Aara attended the event. Dr. Md. Aftab Alam, Students’ Advisor, presented the vote of thanks.
