MANUU Students Union takes Oath

Hyderabad, Jan 18: Maulana Azad National Urdu University’s newly elected Student Union for the academic year 2022-23 has taken charge with an oath-taking ceremony held yesterday evening. Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor presided over the ceremony.

The elected Office Bearers – Md Faizan (Dept. of MCJ), President; Mohd. Misbah Zafar, (Dept. of MCJ), Vice President, Faizan Equbal, (Dept. of CS & IT), Secretary, Mariya Hidayat (B. Voc., MLT), Joint Secretary and Md. Quiasim (Dept. of CS & IT), Treasurer along with Executive Members pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honor and glory of the institution. They take up the responsibility and promise to carry out their obligations to the best of their abilities. The investiture ceremony was also held across the 11 campuses of the university.

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan congratulated the newly elected members and urged them to uphold the legacy of the university. Emphasizing the importance of leadership qualities, he encouraged the students to always choose the right path and make a difference. He encouraged them to set an example for others.

Prof. Sk Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, Prof. Mohammed Abdul Azeem, Chief Returning Officer, Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf, Dean, Students Welfare, Prof. Salma Ahmed Farooqui, Observer, Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed Patel and Dr. Viquarunnisa, Members of the Grievance Cell, were present on the occasion. Dr. K M Ziyauddin, Assistant Dean, Students Welfare, was the emcee of the event, while Dr. Firoz Alam, Deputy Dean, Students Welfare, proposed the vote of thanks. The team of Chief returning officers, Dr. Ismath Fatima, Dr. Jameel Ahamd, and Dr. Jarrar Ahamd were also present at the event.
