Maoist Party Key Letter On Hidma Ecounter
Hyderabad, Dec 4 (Maxim News): The Maoist party has released another sensational letter on the encounter of key Maoist leader Hidma. The letter was released in the name of Vikalp, a representative of the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee, saying that Hidma’s encounter was completely fake. They expressed anger that Shankar was captured along with Hidma and tortured to death. They were furious that they were caught only due to the treachery of some timber traders from AP. They said that Hidma and Shankar, who were ill, had gone to Vijayawada for treatment.
They said that they were caught when they went to Vijayawada with timber traders. They alleged that the Andhra police tortured them for a week and then killed them. Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee representative Vikalp clarified in a letter that a thorough investigation should be conducted into the encounters of Hidma and Shankar. Meanwhile, it is known that two major encounters took place in the Maredumilli forest area of Alluri Seetharamaraju district of Andhra Pradesh state last month (November).
In the encounter held on November 18, key Maoist leader Hidma, along with his wife and several followers, were killed, while six people including Comrade Shankar were killed in the encounter held on November 19. A total of 13 Maoists were killed in these two encounters. Also, based on the information found in the diary at the scene, the police conducted checks in several districts of AP and arrested about 50 Maoists and sent them to jail. (Maxim News)
