The blaze was reported around dawn, prompting an immediate response from fire and emergency services. Five fire tenders from different parts of the district rushed to the spot, and dozens of fire personnel were deployed to battle the flames. As of 9 AM, firefighting operations were still underway, according to initial reports.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported. Preliminary suspicions suggest a short circuit may have triggered the fire, although an official cause is yet to be confirmed. The extent of property damage is also yet to be assessed.

Located in proximity to pharmaceutical manufacturing units, the fire posed a high risk of spreading to nearby industries. Fire officials were working intensively to contain the blaze and prevent it from reaching adjacent chemical plants, where the situation could become far more hazardous.

Authorities are expected to conduct a detailed inspection once the fire is completely extinguished. Local police and industrial safety teams are also likely to join the investigation to determine the exact cause and assess safety compliance at the facility.
