On Thursday, Hyderabad, February 29: Singapore Council General Edgar Pang invited Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi to participate in the 9th World Cities Conference in Singapore from June 2 to 4, 2024.

The World Cities Summit (WCS) is being organized as a platform for mayors, entrepreneurs, and urban experts to share integrated urban solutions and create new partnerships to solve livable and sustainable city challenges.
In this platform, the issues of livable and sustainable cities, rejuvenating, re-invent, and re-imagine will be discussed with mayors, business leaders, and urban experts, as opportunities to achieve smart and regenerative cities, solutions for achieving the goals of smart cities and providing a better city life for all in the present and future.

Accepting their invitation, they asked the Mayor to come to the Singapore WCS and give valuable messages, advice, and suggestions on making cities better and more sustainable.
Speaking to them on this occasion, the Mayor explained the development in the city of Hyderabad. He said that we are working to make the city a top city. The mayor explained that the infrastructure in the city had been developed as a signal-free city of social and economic schemes.
