Mayor Performs Palabhishekham To KCR Portrait For His Generosity

Hyderabad, March.9 (Maxim News): GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan performed palabhishekam to a portrait of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for allocating Rs 10,000 crore for development of Greater Hyderbad city. Coporators of the ruling party took part in the program.

Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor scoffed the reports of mid-term elections to the GHMC. He expressed his happiness over the allocation of Rs 10,000 crore by the State government. He said the cable bridge to Gandipet (Osman Sagar) would be completed by the end of May this year. On the Hussain Sagar rejuvenation works, the Mayor said the works have been stopped by them. He said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was preparing a Master Plan for the overall development of the State capital.

The Mayor also said they would increase the number of Basti Dawakhanas to 350 in the days to come. On the issue of double bed room scheme, he said that construction of 25,000 houses has been completed under the corporation limits. He also said the construction works of another 40,000 houses were under way. He said they were trying to increase the literacy level in the State capital. (Maxim News)
