Mayors And Deputy Mayor Of 7 Municipal Corporations In Telangana

Hyderabad, Feb 16 (Maxim News): Elections were held for seven municipal corporations in Telangana on February 11 and the results were declared on February 13. The election of mayors and deputy mayors was held today (Monday)

Mayors and deputy mayors were elected for Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Ramagundam, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Mancherial and Kothagudem corporations. The details of those elected in the respective corporations are as follows.

KARIMNAGAR CORPORATION
BJP wins Karimnagar mayoral seat
Mayor: Kolagani Srinivas (BJP)
Deputy Mayor: Y. Sunil Rao (BJP)

NIZAMABAD CORPORATION
Mayor: Umarani (Congress)
Deputy Mayor: Salmatahin (AIMIM)

RAMAGUNDAM CORPORATION
Mayor: Mahankali Swamy (Congress)
Deputy Mayor: Pathipalli Yellaiah (Congress)

NALGONDA CORPORATION
Mayor: Murri Chaitanya Srinivasa Reddy (Congress)
Deputy Mayor: Mohammed Ashraf Ali Amar (AIMIM)

MANCHERIAL CORPORATION
Mayor: Dharani Madhukar (Congress)
Deputy Mayor: Salla Ramya Mahesh (Congress)

KOTHAGUDEM CORPORATION
Mayor: Mood Ganesh (CPI)
Deputy Mayor: Siripurapu Lalitha Kumari (Congress)
