Medical And Health Dept. Fully Prepared To Deal With Corona Cases: Damodar

Hyderabad, May 25 (Maxim News): Minister for medical and health Damodar Rajanarsimha assured that people do not need to worry about Corona. he said that his department is fully prepared to deal with Coronavirus cases effectively. However, he said that the cases being registered in the country now are normal.

Minister Damodar reviewed with senior officials at the Aarogyasri Trust office on the spread of Covid virus and prevention of seasonal diseases in the state.

Speaking on the occasion, he directed the officials to create awareness among the people about Covid and seasonal diseases. he said that like cold and cough, Covid is also spread from one person to another. The spread of viruses can be prevented by measures like maintaining personal hygiene and wearing masks.

The Minister ordered that programs be organized in all villages and towns to make people understand that the surroundings of the house should also be kept clean. He suggested that adequate medicines and reagents should be made available in all hospitals. Minister Damodar made it clear to the officials that strict action should be taken if private hospitals try to exploit people in the name of Covid and dengue.

Officials explained to Minister Damodar that some cases of the Covid JN-1 variant have been registered in the country. This variant has been spreading in the country since 2023.

He said that there is no need to worry about this variant at present. he said that except for those with other chronic diseases, no one else needs to be admitted to hospitals. he said that all the necessary facilities, including testing kits and medicine, are available to deal with the Covid cases registered here and there in the state.
