Milk Preparation With Hydrogen Peroxide

Bhuvanagiri/Hyderabad, April 23 (Maxim News): Everything which is being consumed by the people is being adulterated, which makes people afraid to buy anything outside. Essential commodities like milk, oil, and vegetables are being adulterated. Especially the milk and tea that we drink in the morning are getting adulterated. If water is added to milk it is common, but chemicals are being added. Doctors warn that if you drink milk mixed with these chemicals, it will lead to gradual suffering from chronic diseases.

Recently, the police arrested a milk trader who was making adulterated milk with hydrogen peroxide and milk powder in Bheemanapalli of Bhoodan Pochampally Mandal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. Kandala Buchi Reddy has been doing milk business for some time. He collects milk from local farmers. Every day he sells milk to hotels, many sweet houses, and people. In this process, adulterated milk is prepared using hydrogen peroxide and milk powder in small amounts collected from farmers. He takes care that the milk thickens. He has been carrying on this adulterated milk business for years. After receiving the information, the police conducted a search of Kandala Buchi Reddy’s house and seized 110 liters of adulterated milk, 100 ml of hydrogen peroxide, and 3 kg of skimmed milk powder. The accused Kandala Buchi Reddy was handed over to the local police.

Doctors say that it is certain to get sick due to the use of such chemicals. The combination of detergents and chemicals makes the milk look white and clean. Doctors warn that drinking these can cause gastrointestinal problems and diarrhea. Drinking milk mixed with hydrogen peroxide is said to cause changes in kidney function. Hydrogen peroxide is added to preserve the purity of milk for longer. This can lead to digestive problems. Doctors say that the problem of ulcers worsens and starts burning in the stomach. Doctors warn that the addition of starch makes the milk thick and drinking too much of this milk can lead to diarrhea. (Maxim News)
