MIM Symbol On The Voter Slips: MBT File Complaint

Hyderabad, Nov 29 (Maxim News): In Yakutpura Constituency publishing the party symbol on the polling slips and distributing them to the voters caused a stir.  

MBT candidate Amjed Ullah Khan has filed a complaint with the Hyderabad District election officer demanding action against MIM candidate Jaffar Hussain Meraj and his workers who distributed slips with party symbols. Apart from the signs, a special machine is made and a printout with the voter’s name, details is taken out and distributed by the machine.

On the upper part of that slip there is a kite mark. Then there are  the details of the voter and the details of the polling booth. Majlis candidate Meraj attached the slips distributed on the spot by the activists going door to door in the constituency holding a small machine in their hands as evidence in his complaint copy. Amjadullah raised questions that this was against the election rules, how the data of the voters was actually collected, how the data got into the machine and what is the actual machine. He complained to the District election Officer, State DGP and GHMC Commissioner to investigate and take action.  (Maxim News)
