March 22: On the first anniversary day of ‘Janata Curfew,’ India stares at a situation where mini-lockdowns have become a reality again. India, on Monday reported 46,951 new Coronavirus cases, 21,180 recoveries and 212 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said.
The Rajasthan government has imposed night curfew in eight cities and permission was denied for Kumbh Mela at Haridwar which attracts millions of devotees. So far, four crore people were vaccinated and mass vaccination drive is still going on across the country. At present, Maharashtra is the worst affected among all states.
