Minister KTR Expresses Content On TRS Membership Drive
Hyderabad, Feb.22 (Maxim News): Industries Minister KT Rama Rao today expressed satisfaction at the party membership drive across the state. The TRS leader who is second in command has conducted a teleconference meeting with party incharges and leaders of the districts wherein the membership drive is going on. He instructed them to conduct digitisation of the members being enrolled simultaneously.
Rama Rao has expressed content that the party incharges and leaders at districts and local level are playing a key role in the membership drive. Focus more on increasing our membership by attracting the local people by addressing their issues. We should succeed in our efforts to reach our target by February end, KTR told the TRS party incharges.
The party incharges informed that at some places the given target was already surpassed in the membership drive. ‘I am happy that the party leaders are in the party line to increase the membership, he said. The party plans to increase the membership from existing 60 lakhs to 80 lakhs and more.
The minister said that the drive of membership gets good response from people who are happy with the welfare and development programs.
The meeting gets significance as the polls are ahead for two graduate MLC segments including Hyderabad-Mahabubnagar and Ranga Reddy and second one is Warangal-Nalgonda and Khammama segments respectively. (Maxim News)
