Minister Niranjan Reddy Slams Centre

Hyderabad, Oct.29 (Maxim News): Agriculture Minister, S Niranjan Reddy slammed Centre and said that is failing to procure paddy and other farm produce form the estate.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here, the Minister accused the Centre of the creating panic among the farmers in the state. The Centre is supposed to procure the crops from the farmers as per constitution he said.

The Minister denied comments that the state government and officials were dictating terms to the farmers on sowing crops. There is no truth that the government colluded with the millers to procure the crops.

Though the centre is not able to do it only to add to the farmers’ issues, he charged. He took exception to Prime Minister Narendra Modi failing to get the produce from the farmers.

The Minister expressed displeasure at the BJP leaders for protests at Agriculture Commissioner Office. The BJP MPs should press the Centre to procure the crops for MSP, he demanded.

He also found fault that the BJP being the national party was resorting to silly and street politics. He hit out at the BJP leaders for violating poll code in Huzurabad.

Press meet and star campaigners are against talking to media in the segment purview, he said.

They cannot violate before 48 hours of the polls as per poll code, he said. The Minister charged that the BJP was luring voters with money and other materials.

Niranjan Reddy slammed that the BJP was conspiring to stall Rythu Bandhu. We will continue the scheme as the chief minister K Chandraskahr Rao said that rythu bandhu will continue till his last breath. (Maxim News)
