Minor girl sexually assaulted by principal for not wearing mask
Hyderabad, December, 30: A minor girl was allegedly assaulted sexually by the principal of a private school where she is a student in Shamirpet, police said on Thursday. The incident came late to light.
On December 22, the 15-year-old girl, a class 9 student, had gone to the school without wearing a mask, according to sources. On noticing the youngster not wearing the mask, the principal allegedly called her to his office room and committed the offence.
He further threatened to harm her if she told anyone due to which she did not share the ordeal with anyone including her mother.
The young girl shared about the incident with her former school principal, whom she met on Wednesday.
Based on the complaint from the victim’s mother, the Shamirpet police booked a case and are verifying the facts. Based on further evidence, necessary action will be taken, they said.
