Miss World 2025 Contestants To Visit Secretariat And Tank Bund Tommorrow: Check Routes Which Can Save You From Getting Late

Hyderabad, May 17 (Maxim News): In connection with the Visit of Miss World Contestants to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat and Carnival event at Upper Tank Bund on 18-05-2024, the following traffic diversions will be made on a need basis from 15:00 hours to 2200 hrs.

Ambedkar Statue: The general traffic coming from the Secretariat junction will not be allowed towards Upper Tank Bund and will be diverted towards Liberty. The general traffic coming from Liberty towards Upper Tankbund will not be allowed and diverted towards Telugu Thalli.

Sailing Club: The general traffic coming from Karbala Maidan towards Upper Tankbund will not be allowed and diverted at the sailing club towards Kavadiguda.

DBR Mills: The general traffic coming from DBR Mills towards Upper Tankbund will not be allowed and will be diverted at DBR Mills towards Goshala – Kavadiguda.

PARKING PLACES FOR THE PUBLIC:

1. NTR Stadium
2. Old Ambedkar to Lepakshi, one side road parking
3. Sailing Club to Children’s Park, one side road parking
4. Buddha Bhavan to PV Mar,g one side road parking.

On 18-05-2025, the following junctions will be congested due to traffic diversions, and the commuters are advised to avoid the following junctions in the above-mentioned timings.

• Ambedkar Statue
• Sailing Club
• DBR Mills
• Secretariat Junction
• Iqbal Minar
• VV Statue junction
• Liberty
• Indira Gandhi Rotary

All citizens are requested to take note of the above diversions and traffic congestion points and take alternate routes to reach their destination. The Traffic diversions/ closures of roads will be removed/opened after the conclusion of the programme.
