MLA Balka Suman’s Father Dies of Coronavirus
Suresh succumbed to Covid-19 while undergoing treatment. He contracted the virus a fortnight back. He was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad. Suman cancelled his official programmes scheduled in Mancherial district following the demise of his father.
Mancherial, May 28: Government Whip and Chennur MLA Balka Suman’s father, Balka Suresh, passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad on Friday. He was 70. He is survived by wife, two sons and daughter.
Suresh succumbed to Covid-19 while undergoing treatment. He contracted the virus a fortnight back. He was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad. Suman cancelled his official programmes scheduled in Mancherial district following the demise of his father.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, mourning the death of Suresh, recalled the active role played by him as a Market Committee Chairman of Metpally and as a TRS party activist. The Chief Minister spoke to Suman over phone and consoled him. The Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
Suman used to give his father’s example (on Covid) to caution the public whenever he participates in a function. He requested the citizens to wear face masks, to sanitise hands and to practice physical distancing. His followers and members of TRS were shocked by the sudden death of Suresh.
Forest minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy expressed condolences to Suman and his family members. He said that Suresh was a humble and kind person. He prayed to God to give strength to Suman to cope with the irreversible loss. Various sections of the society including ministers, MLA and political leaders expressed condolence on the death of Suresh.
A native of Regonda of Metpalli mandal, Suresh was a committed TRS activist. He had undergone bypass surgery two months ago.
