MLC Counting: Teenmaar Mallanna Leads With Over 19 Thousands Votes

Hyderabad, June 7 (Maxim News): The counting of votes for Nalgonda-khammam-Warangal Graduates MLC by-election continues with excitement.  In the first preference votes, the ruling Congress candidate Theenmar Mallanna and Engugula Rakesh Reddy of the opposition BRS gave a tough fight.

So far 42 candidates have been eliminated in the counting of second preference votes./  Among the 42 candidates, votes are being shared competitively between Congress and BJP candidates.  After completion of elimination process of BJP candidate Gujjula Premender Reddy, Congress (Teenmar Malla got 1,23,709 votes and BRS (Rakesh Reddy) got 1,04,846 votes.  Currently, Theenmar Mallanna is leading by 19 thousand votes.  Even after the elimination of the BJP and the independent candidate Ashok, Mallanna was in the lead, and the expectation of a sure victory has gained momentum.  The winner will be announced in a few hours.  (Maxim News).
