Modi, Amit Shah Won’t Keep Quiet If KCR Goes Aead With RTC Privatization: CPI
Hyderabad, Nov.5 (Maxim News): CPI National Secretary K Narayana today criticized Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for setting deadline of November 5 to RTC striking employees to resume duties. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will not keep quiet on RTC privatization move and will tame the Chief Minister, he fumed.
Talking to mediapersons in Warangal, the CPI leader alleged that KCR has set deadline for himself for privatizing about 50 percent of bus routes in Telangana State. The Centre has 31 percent share in the TSRTC and BJP-led government will act tough on the issue, he felt. The Chief Minister, who slapped the RTC employees for strike will get a slap from the Narendra Modi government at the Centre, Narayana warned.
He also faulted the TRS government for failing to hold talks with JAC unions and threatening employees of losing jobs. He warned that the government will have to ply the buses over their corpses after privatization. The CPI leader flayed the ministers and TRS leaders for talking against the RTC employees and political parties on the strike. (Maxim News)
