Modi copied KCR’s Rythu Bandhu: Kavitha
Hyderabad, Feb.1 (Maxim News): The Centre today introduced a bad copy of KCR Rythu Bandhu for the farmers giving Rs 6,000 per year in three installments, TRS MP from Nizamabad K Kavitha said. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s Rythu Bandhu scheme was copied by the Centre announcing a sop of Rs 6,000 to farmers across the country, she said.
Taking to twitter, Kavitha said the Narendra Modi Government has copied the popular Rythu Bandhu scheme, but it was not that good. While the TRS Government was paying Rs 5,000 per acre twice a year, the Centre has announced only Rs 6,000 for the farmers in the country. “The amount needs refinement, which was less. However, we have to welcome the benefit to the farmers. Modi has to refine with more money to Rythu Bandhu scheme he has introduced”, Kavitha felt.
Disbursing just Rs 6,000 per acre to the farmers was less, she said, adding that the TRS welcomes it. The MP also took exception to the Union budget for talking about 33% women reservation. “Definitely this is the election budget, which has shown some exemptions to the employees and salaried persons”, she added.
